Holzbau Industries is a completely Australian owned and operated business. We have been involved in the building and construction industry, and more specifically the flooring and design sector, for over 25 years in both domestic and international markets.
During this period we have seen laminate flooring and other man-made plank flooring products evolve from being what was often regarded as cheaper and second rate flooring solutions, to highly regarded alternatives to traditional timber floors.
Despite the massive developments in the quality, durability and design finishes of these products, the plank flooring industry still lacked an effective and aesthetically pleasing solution for stair treads and nosings.
This gap in the market led us on a quest to develop a solution for stair overlays created from the same product as the flooring itself, whether it be hybrid, vinyl plank, laminate or engineered floor planks.
After nearly two years of research and development we are able to convert most quality plank flooring products into a superior stair overlay solution, unlike anything else on the market.
Our proprietary manufacturing processes enable us to work with the most readily available plank flooring brands currently available in the Australian and New Zealand markets.
We are the only stair nosing manufacturer of our kind, with many of our techniques and processes unique to our factory. Our manufacturing capabilities enable us to convert hybrid, laminate and vinyl plank floor boards into stair nosings at scale whilst still maintaining a high quality finish.
At full capacity, our profiling line is able to process in excess of 250 planks per hour ready for conversion into stair nosings. This high level of output has allowed the distribution of our products to grow rapidly as new markets and territories discover Holzbau and recognise us as a provider of exclusive stair nosing solutions suitable for most plank flooring brands.
Whilst we have come a long way since first becoming operational, we still continuously seek ways of improving our business from the quality of our end product, the service we provide, and the systems fundamental to these.
Collectively our team brings skills and experience from a range of industries including cabinet making, boat building, carpentry, timber flooring, drafting and design as well as operations and process management.
Although our team is responsible for the successful day-to-day operations of the business, together they also provide an invaluable pool of knowledge and experience that has both contributed to the current success of Holzbau, as well as providing each other ongoing resources for continued growth and development.
We also continue to invest heavily in the highest quality European woodworking equipment, with much of our machinery and tooling designed by us and custom manufactured by some of the best tooling specialists in the world.
