Our business is 100% Australian owned and operated with all manufacturing carried out onsite at our factory in Burleigh Heads, South East Queensland.

Whilst we proudly manufacture stair nosings for many local flooring specialists including flooring stores, flooring wholesalers and distributors, builders and flooring installers, we also manufacture stair nosings for clients throughout the rest of Australia and New Zealand.

Holzbau’s owners and founders bring to the table more than 25 years of experience in business, both locally and internationally within the construction industry, and more specifically, the hardwood flooring sector.

Collectively our team brings skills and experience from a range of industries including cabinet making, boat building, carpentry, timber flooring, drafting and design as well as operations and process management.

Our custom designed, state-of-the art tooling and machinery enable us to maintain a high production output whilst simultaneously maintaining exceptional quality outcomes.
We currently have the capacity to turnaround in excess of 600 custom stair nosings per week.

Holzbau are manufacturers only and operate exclusively under a B2B model which allows us to solely focus on what we do well, which is manufacture stair nosings from the provided plank flooring. Our business to business only operations allows us to maintain the ability to turn around our stair nosing orders efficiently.

Our responsive turnaround time means that most orders can be completed with the finished product wrapped and ready for collection, within a 7 to 10 day period from the delivery of the source material.
